CERT Basic Skills Training is Free
FEMA-certified instructors provide both classroom and hands-on training. Training occurs over multiple days as shown below.
Topics include:

- Home and community disaster preparedness
- Fire safety and utility controls
- Triage and basic medical care
- Light search and rescue
- CERT organization and mobilization
Upon graduation, each CERT graduate receives a certificate and backpack filled with basic supplies, a helmet, and a vest.

Lakewood Ranch CERT
East Manatee Fire Administration Building at 3200 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. Note there is limited space for people who are not part of the Lakewood Ranch CERT CDD.

- May Training – May 2, 4, 16 and 18
- October Training – October 17, 19, 24 and 26
Upon graduation, each CERT graduate receives a certificate and backpack filled with basic supplies, a helmet, and a vest.

River Club
