Rock of Ages Band Fundraiser for Del Webb CERT
The Rock of Ages band supported Del Webb Lakewood Ranch’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) with a fundraiser dance concert on March 7.
“All the money that was raised will stay in the Del Webb community,” said Del Webb CERT Board President Howard Malis, “These funds strongly support our mission to educate the community and be prepared in the event of a catastrophic emergency.”
Malis reminds us that our biggest continuing threat for our community is hurricanes and maintaining focus. Hurricane season is less than 90 days away.
Consider joining the CERT team of your neighbors and friends. They gave their time to train so that the community will be better prepared, and will be able to reach first responders if the need arises. Check our Training Classes page for the next sessions.
