Readiness Condition 6 – Training

  • Schedule and approve continuing education and disaster preparedness classes.
  • Update website, update contact information with Manatee County agencies.

Readiness Condition 5 – Awareness

  • Approve status change to Readiness Condition 5 (Awareness).
  • Update website and Facebook page.

Readiness Condition 4 – Preparation

  • Approve status change to Condition 4.
  • Send Readiness Condition 4 e-mail to all CERT members.
  • Update website and Facebook page.
  • Notify Activation Manager.

Readiness Condition 3 – Standby

  • Approve status change to Condition 3.
  • Send email to CERT members.
  • Update website and Facebook page and notify Activation Manager.

Readiness Condition 2 – Alert

  • Approve status change to Condition 2.
  • Send email message to all CERT members.
  • Update website and Facebook and notify Activation Manager.

Readiness Condition 1 – Activate

  • Upon deactivation, conduct a “Lessons Learned” debrief of all members.
  • Update website and Facebook page.
